Interesting story of this car is that the chap that did the conversion flew to England in 1990, purchased the kit but their plane was hijacked in Kuwait on the way home and he was held in Baghdad for 10 weeks with the kit held on the plane. I purchased the car from him in 1992 and added the BBQ trailer in about 2004. The builder has since passed but he did do another 2 cars after this one and I have heard of another 2 in NZ making a total of 5 here.
