“Lippy” is a 1981 Austin-Morris Mini HL and converted in 1994. Fitted with a very mildly tuned 998cc A+ engine and 2.9:1 final drive to make a really nice mini “grand tourer”. She is in metallic British Racing Green (blue shade), with a black vinyl hood with green piping. A very standard black Mini interior, albeit fitted with Opel Manta Recaro seats, and the two clock speedo in front of the driver have been replaced with three clock “1275 GT” style clocks.
She has toured all over the UK and France, and quite a few of the Scottish islands, even visiting Stornoway in the mid 1990’s. Photos below of Lippy at the International Mini Meeting in 1994.
